COMPANY
Federal
Signs, Inc. was founded in 1925 by the Benell
family. We have been in business for over 85 years
and our
mission is to use our abundance of experience and Computer Aided Design (CAD)
techniques to design and fabricate all types of signs for our
customers. Federal
Signs is located in Providence, RI, on historic Federal
Hill. In 1989 Federal Signs acquired the Hub Sign
company and merged them with Federal signs.

In the photo below, taken circa 1932, the
founder, Frank R. Benell, Sr., is shown outside the original
location at 55 Atwells Ave. in Providence, R.I. at the foot of
Federal Hill. His son, sitting on his knee, is the
current President, Frank R. Benell, Jr. Frank Sr.
founded the company in 1925 at the age of 15 under the name
"F. R. Benell Signs". Eighty five years and
100,000 customers later, the Benell family is still designing,
manufacturing and installing quality signs. |
